Truly the end of an era. Here's the message I just sent to the ENS root keyholders, requesting the transfer of the last of their powers to the DAO.

i remember when the DAO launched and was sitting on a ton of ETH

many expressed concern at it being a multi-sig as the balance grew

but now, it's a truly decentralized system, and still the leading naming system protocol in the space
